Time
Out New York: Hot Seat - I 've been
doing the portraits for the weekly Hot Seat column
for almost four years now. It's been an enormous
challenge, both artistically and professionally,
to be able to turn out a piece each week, every
week. I feel like my skills have improved tremendously
by always having to solve this week's artistic
challenge. Some weeks I'm very inspired, either
by the subject or the idea I've come up with,
other weeks, not so much.
I
have a story about doing each and every one
of these pieces, but it would make this ridiculously
long page even longer. So let's just do a roll
call, starting at the top with the most recent
